Hello! I am Amanda Wright, an Associate with Law Mom. I am currently licensed to practice law in New York, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire.
As a multi-vocational professional, I served professionally in the areas of higher education law and compliance, guardianship, adoption/foster care, disability and accessibility law, medical malpractice, and Chapter 9 Bankruptcy. After my father was diagnosed with lymphoma and my grandmother passed away after living for ten years with dementia, I witnessed how stressful the estate planning, Medicaid planning, and the probate process can be for families. I discovered that the old way of planning for death and incapacity, especially planning for long-term care, was failing families.
I wanted better results for families like mine and decided to shift my legal focus entirely to serving people and families to help them protect their assets, and the people that they love. I am thrilled to be part of the Law Mom team because they use the best and most updated systems to help people and families prepare for transitions, emergencies, mature-care planning, and potential incapacity.
I pride myself in being a lifelong learner so that I can serve our community to the best of my ability. I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Michigan State University College of Law and earned my Master’s of Social Work from Boston College. I am a member of the Elder Counsel, and New York State Bar Association Elder Law & Special Needs Section and Trust & Estate Law Section.
I look forward to meeting you and learning how I can support your goals!
Hello, I am Brandon L. Campbell, Senior Counsel with Law Mom. I am currently licensed to practice law in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Having personally experienced the challenges involved in caring for a close family member facing serious age-related physical and cognitive decline, I have committed my practice to providing compassionate counsel and education for those in need.
This practice is personal for me. After attending law school and starting a career in litigation, a close family member became ill, both mentally and physically, and the responsibility for providing and caring for her largely fell to me for many years. While trying to juggle my own career, finances, and family obligations, I had to fight for her-navigating the intricacies and hurdles of Social Security Disability and MassHealth, as well as the byzantine nature of our American healthcare system, with its seemingly endless tests, referrals, and prescriptions. I even had to seek solutions to very basic but nonetheless important considerations- such as who was going to pick up medications, pay the bills, or do the grocery shopping. As a result, I am personally acquainted with the stresses, burdens, and complications that can fall on family members caring for incapacitated loved ones. Even with help it can be overwhelming. It is for this reason that I decided to devote myself to the practice of elder law, special needs, and estate planning. No one needs to do it alone.
I graduated Cum Laude from New England Law Boston in 2000 and earned a Master of Laws Degree in Estate Planning and Elder Law from Western New England University School of Law in 2017. Also in 2017, I was awarded the Paul J. Liacos Award for my work serving people with mental illnesses. I am a member of the Massachusetts and New Hampshire Chapters of the National Association of Elder Law Attorneys. I have appeared before the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court, the Appeals Court, the Superior Court, the District Court, the Probate and Family Court, and the Federal District Court. I live in Beverly, MA with my wife Jen and kitties Poe and Price.

After graduating from Nichols College, Mel was eager to work within a company that genuinely cares about its clients and employees. Mel studied General Business with a focus on finance, accounting, and management, which taught her that many people don’t understand how their money could work for them. She felt that the same applied to Estate Planning and was excited to be a part of a team that values education and understanding on this overwhelming topic.
When Mel is not at the office, she is most likely at the rink, either coaching ice hockey to youth age groups or getting back on the ice herself.
Like many opportunities in life, the chance for Kacey to work at Law Mom was serendipitous, and she is thrilled to be here. With her background in retail banking, Kacey has seen the aftermath of improper planning and is happy to be able to help families achieve a different outcome.
Kacey holds a bachelor of science in biology from UMass Lowell and worked in a customer service capacity for 16 years before joining Law Mom. She lives in Haverhill, MA, with her fiance, Chris, and 2 rescue mutts Wyatt and Celia.
In her spare time, Kacey usually does one of the following: running, browsing a thrift store, or snuggling on the couch with her dogs.
Alyssa graduated with a bachelors in Medical Radiation Sciences from the University of Vermont in May of 2023. In her last semester, Alyssa completed an internship at the Community Health Centers of Burlington, an independent study in technical and medical writing, and was a teaching assistant for Introduction to Scientific Writing. Alyssa’s time at the Community Health Centers of Burlington was spent researching for and writing new standard of care procedure documents for the facilities labs. Andrea applied at Law Mom because she liked the name—she had worked as a legal assistant for years, but sought a more family-oriented environment after having a baby boy. Now Andrea is learning the magic of properly-written trusts and the horrors of probate.
As a high-strung perfectionist, Andrea enjoys proofreading legal documents. She worked as a copywriter and editor for international clients after graduating from The University of Toledo with a Bachelor of Arts in English and minors in international business and Spanish. By offering virtual assistance to her clients, she realized that assisting CEOs, directors, and legal professionals was an even better outlet for her nervous energy than proofreading alone, and she made a career of it.
Andrea lives with her husband, their son, a very large rabbit, a very small cat, and a crystal skull tank full of Hawaiian volcano shrimp. When not working, Andrea can be found splashing in public fountains with her son, talking to the Duolingo bird, and studying random topics on Wikipedia. Rocío is trying to help Andrea get her Spanish back to what it was in college, pero es muy difícil.
Gill comes to Law Mom as a lifelong planner with an excitement to learn more about the legal planning world. Across her career, she has brought her strong set of administrative skills, work ethic, and sense of humor to a variety of fields and experiences. Law Mom attracted her by sharing her values of growing strong relationships both within the workplace and with clients. From her time at Harvard Extension School to her years overseeing human resources for an architecture firm (and lots of momming along the way), she has become a master juggler, always eager to share her well-honed time management skills with others. As a true believer in hard work, she is excited to help clients in their process of making plans to protect their own years of hard work and life building.
Outside the office, you can find Gill dutifully tending to her ever-changing garden, exploring the copious walking trails of the South Shore, or just enjoying a drink with a good friend or a good book. She can also be found wrangling her little family who manages to keep her on her toes (especially her snuggly curmudgeon of a granddog).
